Prayers
"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always."
1 Chronicles 16:11
1 Chronicles 16:11
Prayer, in its various forms, is a widely practised activity throughout the world everyday (Ryan, 2006). As teachers, we are expected to provide meaningful experiences of prayer in a variety of ways including singing and meditating for a range of purposes (Ryan, 2006). Using these prayers provided in this resource package in the classroom as displays which are continually revisited and integrated into activities will help assist students in achieving the learning outcome “Students will learn to participate in the Mass and become familiar with some responses” derived from the unit (CEO Sydney, 2006, p. 117).
